Self kindness, authentic honesty and a willingness to decide who you want to become empowers us to choose, live, and author meaningful stories.

We exist to serve and be served.

And to love and be loved.

Confidence and strength become inevitable as we develop meaningful relationships, bringing into focus, "what matters most."

Live Well - Love Well

                       Mark Power

You shouldn't accept candy from strangers.

Nor should you blindly accept counselling or support from just anyone.

My Name is Mark Power and ever since I was a kid, I've had a heart for hearing and sharing uplifting stories of people overcoming adversity. My mother suggested to me, "You should become a writer." However, my father objected and said, "No. There are too many people who need help. You're smart and a good listener. And there is better money in becoming a lawyer." Confused, though inspired by both my parents, I combined the skills of both professions and became a Counsellor and Advocate.

Throughout the years, I’ve worked with many people faced with trauma, addiction, and mental illness. And I've witnessed first-hand, the amazing resilience of the human spirit.

I am on a mission to save lives and that's where Love-Well comes in.

In order for anyone to heal, recover, and grow, one must have the confidence to believe they can, actually be restored and whole again. My counselling space, dubbed the "nest," plays a significant role in the process. The Nest serves as both a place for people to find rest and also acts as a launchpad for people to begin again.

I utilize relational, narrative and experiential strategies to bring the best out in people.
I love the process of getting to know people and seeing them transform from believing they are a lost-cause, to becoming stronger, wiser and confident.

More than anything, I simply want to remind people, they are loved.

Inexplicably, despite my own setbacks and limitations, somehow, along with the help of many good people, I've had the good fortune and grit to accomplish a thing or two.

You could say, I'm just passing a good thing along.
